I always love how clean it is. I have laundry in my appt blg but i choose Dexter pay because it’s clean and have wide space for everyone. Plus the customer service they give for everyone is admirable❤️❤️❤️
## ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: The Laundry Room (Berkeley & Oakland, San Pablo)
I’ve been to both Laundry Room locations—Berkeley and Oakland—and funny enough, they’re both on San Pablo. I actually ended up at the Oakland one by accident (directionally challenged over here!), but I’m glad I did because both spots are equally impressive.
Over the past year, I’ve dealt with housing instability, which means I’ve spent a lot of time in laundromats across the Bay Area. For me, keeping my clothes clean is a way of maintaining dignity and stability when life feels chaotic. This laundromat is perfect with one exception: They use a shop vac to vacuum the screens on the dryers while people are washing their clothes.
The sidewalks and ground in the SF Bay area are covered in human and dog feces which contain E. coli bacteria. When vacuuming and stirring up the dust on the floor while people’s clothes are being clean, that E. coli is then potentially getting on all those clean clothes. Whatever is on the floor is being made airborne and then landing a nice clean clothes and surfaces. Not so clean.
Advice to the owner: Vacuum and clean the facilities when the business is closed. This is a very common and standard business practice.
