Rehabilitation Program: Sutter Alta Bates Summit Medical Center

Was held on line for 1 hour!! Then the office said they are not taking out of state doctor's order! That's absurd! California does not have such a law and injury happened during a winter break out of state! I told them my insurance will make you whole but they insist on this policy. Was transferred to a manager but was hung up!! Not recommend this horrible service to anybody.

Emergency workers were extremely unprofessional. I arrived at 9 am and there were just 5-6 patients at that time, but I left at 2 pm because they still were not able to do a CT scan or run any tests. Nor could the nurses in the emergency room front desk be able to give me any information such as if it would take another 1 or 2 hours. I paid my co-payment and basically, they did not perform any services. They told me I could have a serious brain injury if I left, but after spending the whole day there and not knowing when they would see me, I just felt I had to go someplace else. I had my baby May 30th 2024 and let me start with saying thank you to all the nurses, Alex a nurse who was pregnant when caring for me and Katelyn caring for me postpartum. I went in for a induction which took almost 2 days for my baby to come since i had a previous caesarean section i was giving up on my VBAC this time around because the pain was unbearable but Alex talked me through it and pushed me to try and have my vaginal birth and so i did. All the nurses were supportive and kept me motivated. Would do it again at Alta Bates ! Give the nurses a raise they deserve it
