I love this place. Moe is a grumpy old man who can come off as harsh when you first meet him haha, but he has a heart of gold. His flowers are always fresh, he gives good prices, and he’s incredibly hardworking. He’s the kind of person who will give you the shirt off his back when he knows he can trust you. Owning a shop in the middle of a college town has posed a lot of issues for him - specifically, people stealing and taking advantage of the fact that he is older - yet he still does his best every day to make special arrangements for his customers (even if he has to be more grumpy on the outside). Give him a shot! He’s a sweetheart. :)
My favorite florist in all of Berkeley! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and sources high-quality flowers - you won’t find the same selection at grocery stores. The prices are fair - my lilies (7 buds total) were $13.50 including tax. He also offers student and returning customer discounts.
P.S. Don’t be discouraged by the negative reviews - I actually prefer letting him choose the flowers because his arrangements turn out beautifully, and he includes filler leaves at no surcharge.
