Malai Thai Massage is a highly-regarded massage business, offering walk-in appointments and unbeatable prices. They provide excellent deep tissue massages, tailoring their approach to customer needs and alleviating tension effectively. The atmosphere is initially perceived as dark but is actually kind and welcoming. New clients have reported life-changing experiences, particularly after their first Thai massage with Sopa. The dedicated and attentive staff are recommended to be tipped. Customers have praised the level of attention and skills of the therapists, such as Apo, Neeya, and Sripai, who are known for their intuitive and strong bodywork with great sensitivity and understanding of the body. While the establishment may not have a totally silent and fancy experience, it offers real and effective massage work at a reasonable price point.
The space was clean and relatively quiet (the massage areas are divided by curtains, not walls, so it’s not a perfectly soundproof environment), and the value for money seems pretty good. I’d never had a Thai massage before so I have no basis of comparison, but I enjoyed it! The pressure was fairly intense but my therapist Kwan made sure I was comfy and adjusted as needed. My muscles definitely feel less tense after just 30 minutes.
Booked through ClassPass considering the good rating but while writing this, I noticed the influx of negative reviews recently. However, my experience was absolutely wonderful. Very peaceful, calming and respectful throughout my entire 60 min session. Neeya made me feel absolutely comfortable and I think I might have dozed off for a few mins in between haha .. overall recommend!
I was scared at first because of my herniated back injury that I got a decade ago but wow my back is like brand new. The best massage I’ve ever gotten omggggg , obsessed! Might have to invest in massages biweekly just like how I invest in my therapy
