Racist, Biased Doctors in my opinion. Left me in severe pain resulting in the loss of my Pell Grants. Lied to me that it was my liver and said they could not treat me with narcotics because they could kill me. Was my spine pinching a nerve and they knew that, had a CT scan on hand. Was it because of the lack of color of my skin? Value= Worthless
They have students from UC Berkeley posing as nurses and unlicensed social workers... With no degree or credentials... The staff is verbally abusive and unprofessional... They literally told me they weren't able to do anything because they didn't have the right tools or experience to diagnose or treat me.. told me to go to the hospital. I feel bad for people that think this a REAL DOCTORS OFFICE. when it clearly isn't.. Addison West Berkeley lifelong is a fraud and should be shut down for malpractice and mistreatment of patients. If they were real doctors I would have been to get the care that I needed and not go to a different medical facility.
I've had lifelong medical for many years now, and they have provided me with fantastic and reliable care! Dr. Gordon (my GP) is available to talk through my concerns, and if there are any problems with medication, she is able to work with me to figure out what to do. I really appreciate the affirming care that I get here, with a holistic focus on health and preventative care, not only reactionary care when something has already gone wrong. As a plus size person, I also very much appreciate that health concerns are not automatically dismissed as relating to my weight, I feel very heard and respected at my appointments. I turned 40 this year, and I'm getting a referral to get a mammogram, as well as getting hooked up with physical therapy, acupuncture, and other care for back pain. I find the patient portal to be a little slow at times, but I generally do hear back within the three days that they promise, and I know they're very busy! sometimes it can take a while to get labs done, and I do wish it was easier to make an appointment for that, because I don't always have an hour to spend waiting. Again, though, I know it's a busy clinic. All in all, I am very happy with the services provided and the practitioners I've seen.
