very very kind staff. The only thing I’d say is it’d be good to do around three coats of the gel polish as mine began to chip the same day I got them done. It is a family run business as well which is very sweet.

I just moved to the east bay and have been looking for a new nail salon I could depend on and visit regularly. Been to about 6 and the quality out here is not the same as sf and the peninsula. But!!! Finally found someone that I can trust. Phuong does great coffin shape and paints on the polish smoothly where the lines are clean, and no gaps! I got a regular pedicure and gel manicure for $60. Great quality and great price. Venue is old but I don't care about that as much as I do with the nail shape and polish application.

JV Nails is so great they've got me writing my first Yelp review! I've come in for gels maybe 8-10 times over the past year and each time leave so, so satisfied!! I always go for the cat's eye colors which have an amazing sparkly effect and without fail get compliments for weeks about my nails! This last time I got a purple cat's eye over a navy blue base and could not be happier! They're always very friendly and accommodating with scheduling, but also will let you just vibe if you're not feeling chatty. Highly recommend!!
