I've been coming to this place since 1993. The owner is like a Bay Area Historian to me. He's seen the neighborhood change through more than six decades. Although I now live on the East Coast, I still make it a must to stop by and get a cut because Harold is one of the best barbers to ever hold a pair of clippers. We in the community have always seen him as a Bay Area legend! 💈✂️

Classic and the definition of a barbershop.Mr. Spiller has been there forever a real O.G. barber and can still cut with the best of'em.This shop should be a Berkeley historical landmark.

He was so kind to my son. My son had fun and the haircut was really cute. He's definitely someone I'd recommend for kids haircuts. My son usually cries his eyes out at haircuts! This time he was so proud to sit in the chair and no tears! Plus, Jesse told us great stories about the neighborhood before Ashby BART was built.
