Moved back to SF 7 yrs ago, for years I could not find a person who knew how to cut thick wavy hair. I did however find shops in SF that charged a fortune and found it strange the stylists would post their hobbies and not how many years experience they had cutting hair ( I want a haircut not a dating app sigh) I googled Panache on Telegraph a place where I went as a college student. I was guided to J. Brooker Studio where some Panache hairstylists still are. I read some yelp reviews and made my appointment with Nishan. My hair finally came out how I wanted it for a reasonable price. I wish I did this years ago!

Elena was so great! She really listened to what I wanted from my hair and recommended a cut to achieve that. We worked through the reference photos I brought in and the final cut definitely reflects what I wanted. I really do not know where to begin. I walked into J.Brooker Studio without an appointment and told them that my daughter's hair was in a terrible knot. What happened next is a miracle. Joelle Tapang and owner, Maria, literally spent from 4:30pm until 10:30 at night to help my daughter address her knotted hair. These two amazing women gave up their evening to help me and my daughter. Maria bought dinner while I drove my other daughter home.
