I came to Emily last minute to help save my hair before my wedding and she did wonders. She was super respectful and helped me find eco-friendly, plastic free products that actually work for my hair! I was super impressed by her knowledge of all different hair types. If you are looking for an environmentally sustainable salon, with low waste clean products this is the place to go!

Emily has been my hair person for years. She always has wonderful ideas for my hair and always listens to what i want. Hopkins Hair has been opened for about a year and a half. Emily turned this space into a very beautiful and tranquil area. She even has a wonderful comfortable chair for hair washing that supports the neck. I love the hair products she uses, which I think are ecological sustainable. I totally enjoy my appointments with Emily because not only is she a fantastic hair stylist, but also an artist, a wonderful conversationalist.

I met Emily Lyman, the owner of Hopkin's Hair, after restrictions were being lifted- post Covid. So many people had 'out of control' home haircuts. I couldn't wait to have a proper haircut. Emily had a unique way of assessing one's hair. It felt like an artist was ready to embark on a project. Fast forward; I've been going to see Emily for a few years now. My shorter hair has been growing longer. We've added color into the experience. I love the way my hair looks! I have two 'cow licks', straight and wavy hair. It can be tricky. Visiting the salon is a treat. Emily has done a lovey job decorating her salon. It's always a calming experience. We have really interesting conversations; I look forward to appointments!
