First, the good: Hisako is incredibly sweet and receptive. She told me to tell her if anything needed changing, and when I did, she immediately made the change and thanked me for asking. That put me at ease and I felt comfortable asking for what I wanted during the massage. The not-so-good, for me, was that the massage felt incredibly random and I never felt like my muscles really got what they needed. It kind of felt like a massage you might get from a well-meaning, but untrained, friend. Have been to Hisako Oba twice in the last year and had wonderful experiences with her. She has just the right touch and intuits just what you need for your massage. She has everyone fill out a questionnaire so she has an idea of what you want but one time I went in with a painful knot in my back and she worked that right out. Her price is very reasonable and she is a lovely person. Great massage!
