I was looking for a shop that was first Black owned and operated. I met her May 4, 2022 she instantly noticed the condition of my hair. She said you have long hair but you want it to be healthy. So true, she offered me a trim I accepted.May 4, 2023 my hair hair began to improve and thicken up. I wasn't getting regular trims.I appreciated that she cared about the appearance of her shop. It was fine when i first walked in the first day. I came back and noticed she transformed her shop new tiles on the floor, nice wall painting. I had to let her know i noticed. I have been in the awkward stage of growing out a pixi which I love, but wanted a bit more length for added warmth during the Fall/Winter. There seems to be a shortage of good stylists who cut naturally thin, curly, wavy hair in my vicinity. They are either on vacation, sick, or shop has completely shutdown with no notice! When I discovered Hair by Glynis I jumped at the opportunity to pay a visit hoping for a same day trim. She was already styling a client and said that she doesn't do walk-ins, but after seeing the state of my hair was able to book me an early morning appointment the next day. Glynis is amazing!! Definitely my new stylist! Her salon is clean, newly remodeled! She is beautiful, sweet, and Definitely can cut some hair. If you have long or short hair Glynis will have your hair flawless!! Glad I found her! September 2022. Thank you my girl
