Everyone from Farallon Gardens is amazing. My husband and I have the front yard of our dreams. Mathew took our ideas into consideration combined with his artistic and horticultural experience/knowledge and created color and texture that is drought tolerant, low maintenance, and attractive to hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies; all on a rocky hill that gets full sun all day. We are over the moon happy.
The folks at Farallon Gardens helped me deal with Berkeley's new EMBER ordinance and did a great job rebuilding my garden to be fire-department compliant and still looking great. Matt did a wonderful job of assessing what would look good and the build team did a fantastic job with clearing, laying down decorative gravel, installing irrigation and planting well chosen and well suited plants. Their monthly service is very reasonable and has kept the place looking great. I really like that everyone at Farallon knows what they're doing and what they're about--they really understand landscape work and will work with you to build something really enjoyable.
It’s been a few months since we worked with Farallon Gardens to design and install a whole new front yard in Berkeley that would comply with the new Zone Zero rules but still be beautiful and inviting. Mathew and his team transformed our messy, disjointed garden into a stunning unique space with a mix of succulents and perennials in a gorgeous array of colors, textures, and dimensions.
