Training with Mike has completely changed our lives with our GSD. After training 4 dogs with Mike of the course of 18 years I can confidently say Mike is the best! If you want to be able to take your dog anywhere and everywhere and get compliments on how well behaved they are, Mike is your guy. We drove from the mid-peninsula to SF every Sunday morning for many weeks and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I had such a positive experience with Mike’s training methods. What sets him apart is his well-rounded approach—not just treat-based, although that's where the training begins. He integrates a variety of effective techniques that truly work. One of my favorite parts of his classes is the 10-minute puppy playtime before the session starts. It’s such a smart idea! The puppies get to have fun, burn off some energy, and are much more focused during the class. I’ve never seen other classes offer this, and it’s a real shame because it makes such a difference.
