Maritza is the absolute best. Her color work is impeccable. She listens and provides excellent advice and is so knowledgeable and easy going. A lot of salons in the bay area have a distinct mean girl energy and there is none of that here. Just good vibes and good work. I live in Los Gatos and found Maritza through a lot of research and there is zero hesitation to travel all the way to Berkeley to see her. If you live around Berkeley and need color, or extensions, or good hair, just go.
