Berkeley Pediatric Medical Group: So Grace MD

I am afraid of doctors, so finding a pediatrician for my kids (elementary-school age and newborn) was an exceptionally daunting task. I could not be happier with the care they receive from Berkeley Pediatrics. Every staff member is an extremely competent, huge hearted person that goes above and beyond for their patients. Special shoutout to Dr. AnneMarie Franks, whose gentle humor and wealth of knowledge make her nothing short of a hero in my eyes. I've had solid good care for my kids at Berkeley Pedes for many years. I just wish they weren't so chronically late all the time. Maybe appointments need to be scheduled differently, but I'm tired of showing up and waiting 30-40 minutes to be seen. Literally every time.

Seven years ago, Dr Kalar learned from her father that our older daughter, 12 at the time, was making herself throw up. Dr Kalar told her father -let's call him John- to not tell me. Let me repeat. Dr Kalar actually told John to hide from her mother, with whom she lives half the time, not to tell me. Despite her and John, with whom I had a good relationship, knowing and acknowledging I was a good, responsible, loving mother.
