The Berkeley Free Clinic is an American treasure. I have been going to dentist there for a long time. The room is clean, the staff is friendly, and the service is professional. I am truly grateful that BFC has stayed open all these many years to serve low income people in need. And it really is free, but I always make a donation to help keep them afloat!

This clinic saved my life. I suffer from severe Dentophobia. And my dental health has suffered as a consequence.My dentist is the best, she's been patient, understanding and has gone to extra distance to accommodate my phobia. It took me 3 years to get the courage to come through those doors. I'm so glad I did.Thanks for all you doKevah

The staff are polite but their scheduling is dismal. They will have you in on an appointment then tell you we need to reschedule. They have done this multiple times. Constructive criticism comments, an abcesed gum and even a sincere heartful apology from one of their dentist and years later, they are still doing this as a standard operating procedure. The concept of a free clinic is awesome , and I think it was awesome for the dentist to offer an apology. I would hope they take this feedback and learn and grow.
