Reading the other reviews, I can second all of them. I'd just add that as a woman in her late 60s I feel totally comfortable here. The coaches take everyone seriously and I have never felt talked down to, as can happen in some gyms. There is a lovely balance of serious lifting and socializing between lifts. It has been very fun getting to know people of all ages and life paths I might not have had the chance to meet in the rest of my everyday life. Whether you are a long term, serious lifter, or someone who has never lifted but keeps hearing you probably should (yes I'm especially talking to you my fellow "mature" women) check them out. You will not regret it.
I mean, the 5-star reviews say it all. Bay Strength is a special place, and strength training here is always one of the highlights of my day. I started with the Learn to Lift class, and Bay Strength has this magic that actually made me look forward to going to the gym.
