GymClass is a women's only gym that offers a supportive and encouraging environment for all fitness levels. Members appreciate the excellent strength and circuit workouts tailored to individual needs, allowing everyone to progress at their own pace. I was a bit intimidated with weightlifting when I started at Gym Class Rocks years ago, but it was the perfect place to get started. Not only was the owner of the gym, Shannon, very accommodating in teaching me the exercises and helping me adjust the workout to my specific needs, but the entire community of women was as well. Once I started getting stronger and was ready to increase my weights, I could look to this wonderful community of strong women for inspiration and advice on form, weights, and life. And, perhaps most important for me, whenever I skip several weeks due to life getting in the way, I am always welcomed back by Shannon and the community as if I hadn’t been gone at all.
I have been going to Gym Class for over a year. When I first started out, I was overweight, weak, had poor agility and poor balance. Shannon has helped me modify my workouts to allow me to work up to where I am today. I lost 80 lbs, and have much better strength, agility and balance. The gym set up has many options for how to accomplish the workouts for each day. The women working out along side of me are friendly and supportive, and I have enjoyed going. I would and have recommended this class to others.
I had never been to a Gym before & by chance I saw her ad on Facebook about the 28-day belly fat challenge & I remember that I really wanted to start this challenge, but I was afraid. I started communicating with Shannon and I told her that I really wanted to start this the challenge but to take it easy on me b/c I probably wasn’t as strong as the other ladies. Thanks to Shannon, I lost 13 lbs during the 28 day challenge and continue to lose weight. She has explained step by step how to eat healthier, change my lifestyle & exercise. For those women who believe they cannot achieve their goals - let me tell you that you can! I am an example that you can change your lifestyle for good. I never exercised and now it is my hobby. I love going to the Gym every day & now I am much stronger, and best of all, I can always count on Shannon :) I recommend that you take the 28-day challenge with Shannon, she is the best!
