“It was a great experience today at The Joint in South Gate. I have been suffering with neck pain since Sunday and my wife recommended me to go to the joint. I went in today at 8 AM. The doctor was really good. He gave me an adjustment when riding into the area that was hurting and worked his way to my neck and I loved his way of carrying these moves on my back. “Dr Lim was awesome with my newborn, she was very informative about the procedures she was doing to my little one. My baby had a lot of tension due to a fast labor and was not sleeping well and very fussy and just not settling and Dr Lim helped relieve the tension in his body. “I was in my only car accident back in 2019. At the time, I thought I had recovered and moved on with my life. Then in 2024, my dizziness slowly started coming back. I tried getting chiropractic adjustments again, hoping it would help, but my symptoms got much worse. I started losing my balance and had trouble functioning normally. I had chest tightness, fluctuating blood pressure, fast heart rate, nausea, difficulty swallowing, and became very sensitive to light. I couldn't even go into department stores because the bright lights and high ceilings would make my dizziness so much worse. My vision was unstable, and I had trouble concentrating, speaking, and understanding conversations. I went to my primary doctor and completed a lot of lab work and tests, but no one could figure out what was wrong. I was often told it was anxiety or stress. That was very hard to hear because I knew something wasn't right. I felt hopeless and started wondering how I would continue to live. I even traveled to Vietnam for imaging and additional evaluations, searching for answers anywhere I could find them. After a while, prayer was the only thing keeping me going. Finding Dr. Alvarado was truly a blessing. Since starting treatment with him, my dizziness has improved, my vision is much more stable, and I finally feel like I'm moving in the right direction. I still have long way to go, but for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. I also want to thank the amazing staff. Everyone has been so kind, caring, and supportive throughout my treatment. They always make me feel welcome and genuinely cared for. Thank you, Dr. Alvarado and your team, for helping me through one of the hardest times in my life.
