I have bad social anxiety and prefer old school barber shops that keep things basic unless you need something more. So this place was a breath of fresh air and reasonable priced. The staff was friendly especially anyone older in age will love this place.
Charlie does a great job! She makes sure it is done correctly and doesn't take forever to do it.
I have only been a small handful of times but I will continue to go to her.
If you are looking for a new barber give her a shot! She won't disappoint!!
I've been coming to Westchester Barber Shop for the past four years. Charlie is one of, if not the last, Master Barbers in Bakersfield who gives exceptional haircuts.Her shop is reminiscent of the old barber shops with a great selection of magazines and history books to peruse while waiting your turn.
