I've been coming to Westchester Barber Shop for the past four years. Charlie is one of, if not the last, Master Barbers in Bakersfield who gives exceptional haircuts.Her shop is reminiscent of the old barber shops with a great selection of magazines and history books to peruse while waiting your turn.

This was my Barber for 5 years before the pandemic. Always an excellent cut without any gimmicks or bs. I had to try elsewhere since i am not shopping in Bak and live 50 miles away. I wish her well.

Master Barber Charlie is outstanding. Crisp, clean, old school barbershop ?. This is what a barbershop should be. After coming to area last November and finding this barbershop, I have not wanted to look further. If you want a serious haircut from a barber with 50+ years as a licensed barber then this is for you. Be courteous and give her the respect she deserves. She is a neighborhood gem. This shop brings back memories of when my father first took me for my first haircut. This has all the nostalgia of that my first haircut had. I would give more stars if I could.
