I have been taking my dogs to Stiern Veterinary on Monterey since 2007. I do this because they are outstanding. The office staff, vet techs and aides along with the doctors are always friendly and professional. I trust and value the advice and treatment I get from them.
Everyone here was absolutely wonderful. Our kitty needed some serious dental work done and they were very thorough in explaining what needed to be done and why.
The major difference between my previous experiences with vets is the kindness and patience they showed with the whole process from start to finish. Even when they were extremely busy and being bombarded they remained kind and attentive.
The Vet himself did an amazing job ensuring that Pippen was well taken care of. Despite being a bit loopy, he came home and for the most part didn’t seem like he was in pain. I can tell he was well taken care of when he was there.

The service was excellent. The veterinary technician and the doctor were kind and explained everything thoroughly. I especially appreciated that they didn't push a bunch of procedures like some other practices do. The doctor recommended a blood test for my dog, which I agree is needed, but there was no pressure. They were gentle and patient with my senior, blind dog. Thank you.
