We live in Ridgecrest and we recently hired James Air Conditioning and Heating to handle Air Conditioning repairs at both of my homes, and I couldn't be more satisfied with their service. They explained everything clearly the cause of the leak and completed the repair within a few hours, restoring comfort in no time. Their attention to detail was impressive, and they made sure to test everything before leaving. For my family member's home, I had an Air Conditioning system that was not working at all. During a record heat wave in Bakersfield (July 2024), James Air Conditioning & Heating came to my rescue. Paul James was recommended to me by my neighbor. He confirmed the diagnosis of the problem (second opinion), expeditiously completed the repair, and the total came to less than a third of the total the other company wanted to charge. The system is 25 years old and will still need replacing at some point, but James Air Conditioning & Heating got me through a rough spot so I can actually think. Paul James and his wife Amy listened and squeezed me in during an overly full schedule. I've already recommended them to someone on the NextDoor app and I'm happy to do it here, too. Please give them a shot -- I am incredibly thankful for them.

Reliable, professional, friendly and above all else affordable. Both times have been able to come same day! We got lucky because they are so busy, however always take the time needed to leave us with nice cold AC!
