About In-Shape Family Fitness
In-Shape Family Fitness is a friendly club in Bakersfield that offers a variety of activities to support a healthy lifestyle. The club features spacious and clean facilities, with different equipment and classes, including studio fitness, small group and personal training sessions, as well as relaxation and recovery options like the sauna. Members can also play Pickleball, hang out by the pool, or utilize childcare services. The staff is friendly and courteous, always welcoming visitors warmly. While some areas, such as the pool/spa area, are currently being remodeled, members are excited to see the improvements. The gym has everything needed, from Zumba and Bodypump classes to various workout equipment. However, some reviews mention that water fountains need updating, and weights can sometimes be scattered around, making it feel like a treasure hunt. The machines are sometimes used without being cleaned, which can be frustrating, and a few machines are out of order. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience at In-Shape Family Fitness remains positive, with many appreciating the clean facilities, friendly staff, and diverse classes that help individuals and families move, progress, and connect.
Overall it is a nice gym, employees are nice, and even when it’s packed I can find me another area to go to. only bad feedback is the water fountains need to be updated and weights can be organized. There are always all over the place.
The gym has everything we need. They're currently remodeling the pool/spa area, so excited to see what that will look like. There are days where I'd like all the dumbbells easy to find and not feeling like I'm on a treasure hunt lol Overall, we have a great experience at this gym.
In Shape is a great gym. I love the High Fitness & Zumba classes. I really would like California Ave & White ln to have some High Fitness classes. I have my membership here because of these main classes.
