Last month my doctor put me on Butrans patches instead of my morphine ER. He then left for the next week with a new dr. who was there for her 1st day, but not the rest of the week. They scheduled this appt for 3 wks instead of 4. I went thru serious physical symptoms on the Butrans. had a hard time getting it as ins doesn't cover it. Had to pay $275 cash compared to the morphine for $6. I called the office & receptionist said dr. out of town that week. I asked if I could leave a msg for someone to call back and she said even if the dr. is there, he only replies or has someone else reply after 5 days. I told my primary dr. and he was shocked and said that's unacceptable. I was talking to 2 other women while waiting and they told me their horror stories about cutting their meds down, too. My 1st time there, they cut my meds down & keep doing it. They scheduled an epidural...worst experience at Northwest Surgery Center, don't go there and don't use Dr. Parmar. He never came in to introduce himself before procedure, they didn't give me enough twilight meds so I was wide awake & felt all the pain. I never once heard a male voice, just the 3 women who wheeled me in. I question if he was even there and instead the female dr., but probably charged more since Parmar owns the surgery center. I've had a 2nd epidural in my neck from a spine dr. at SCOI done at Bahamas Surgery Center and a it was 180 deg better than the other Northwedt Surgery. I'm trying to find a compassionate pain dr for my primary to refer me to. Most pain drs. here seem like they're in the wrong business. I have Lupus, neck /back bulging disks, chronic Lupus pancreatitis pain & all they keep pushing is epidurals on my back. I've said I'm doing my epidurals at SCOI as I'm not having Parmar touch me again, if he was even there. The back office nurses are nice, but this new female dr hired 2 wks ago is horrible! Now I know why NP Singh left, probably saw what a horrible office she was working for. I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Q St or Brimhall offices. FYI: I go to Q St., but read nightmare reviews on Brimhall location, too.

This place is horrible! They were seeing my 88 year old mother for pain management! After having stem cel therapy pushed at her, we researched this! We met with her specialist at UCLA, and we were told this would not help her! On her last appointment they released her from their care! DO NOT trust your loved ones care with this sham of a doctor,
