Bloodhound is the place to go. They have lots of books and movies. Today they have 20% off in the store and $3 a bag for items in the patio. Love their store. Plus the staff is great.

There's something special about going to a used book store: a combination of sensations, that old book smell, fingertips grazing rough pages, and the anticipation of perhaps finding a book that sparks interest.I've been to Bookhounds three or four times now and I've found new (to me) books and I've found old favorites, lots of old horror and fantasy discovered when I was younger. This usually doesn't happen to me. Most used book stores are for me a game of chance.There's a generous section of children's books and YA novels. There's an historical section that I must search next time. There's a section for vinyl, DVDs, a bunch of westerns, it's great.

Great used book store! Good prices and lots of kids books too! Great place to look around and find something you’ll enjoy. I sold them 4 books, don’t expect to get much, just wanted to declutter some books I had. I will be bringing back more and shopping againStaff is super nice

From Bookhounds

BookHounds sells books, vinyl records, dvds, cds, video games and more. We have a 2000 sq. ft warehouse with items broken into sections and alphabetized for quick shopping. WE ARE CURRENTLY BUYING We also buy all of the same. You may drop off any items you have to sell at 2710 L Street between the hours of 9am-3pm Mon, Wed, Thurs, Friday & Sat 9am-4pm. Please do not leave any items you want back including tubs, bags or boxes. There are forms to fill out and attach to your items. Payment is by Venmo, Paypal or Zelle. If you require check payment, you must bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope and have a larger quantity of items (2 boxes or 3 bags). No small orders for check payment. Thank you!
