Had to bring one of my animals to the vet. I had been to this place 20 years ago, but not recently.. I was given one of four numbers to call from another vet that was booked too far out. My appointment was on 10-11-23. First off, I was pleasantly surprised how professional & sweet the receptionist was when making the appointment. She wasn't rude or rushing, and listened to my concerns.. My appointment was at 9:40. I arrived at 9:38..At first, I was frustrated on how long it took for my cat to be seen because it was now 10:20, but thought maybe there was an emergency. I could clearly see everyone was on the move & working hard. I finally was called back 10 minutes later and greeted by a vet technician named Tara. She was very sweet, patient, compassionate and took her time explaining what they were going to have to do in order to get a diagnosis. She explained everything to me. I was then greeted by the Doctor. His demeanor and compassion was just as Tara's was, great. I now know why vet appointments may take longer than expected. The fact that each animal coming through their door gets quality care. So be patient. The entire staff was great. I give them an A+ from start to finish. This vet hospital is far from my house, but worth the drive. Will be taking my other 3 pets there as well. Very clean environment. So happy with my experience with this office.
When my Annie started feeling sick I called around to the vet's trying to get her in and Stine was the only one where a real human answered the phone. Everyone else was giving me a 3 month wait time. They got me in within the week and thank goodness because Annie had IMHA and if she wouldn't have been seen by Dr. Havel I would not have known and Annie most likely would not have made it. Since then they have been so kind to me and Annie. They fit us in when needed, explain treatment plans, and truly care during this horrible time that I hope no other pet owners have to go through. Thank you Stine Veterinary! Thank you for being there for our pets and let's all remember during longer wait times that they are trying to help everyone they can.
