This is the first time I have ever filed a WC case in my 50 odd yrs of working and did not hold out much hope because apparently “psychological” cases are difficult to prove, which seems unfair. I had my deposition today and WOW. I was aaabsolutely blown away by the outcome. Let me tell you, Carmen Cuevas my Case Manager was top notch 11/10😉. She is empathetic & never made me feel like I was being a nuisance which I’m sure I was & held my hand throughout the process. The attorney fighting for me, Diana Lakhchakova (I kkkknow, it’s a mouthful & I’m just relieved I didn’t have to call her by her surname 😆) was, yes, here comes another WOW! PHENOMENAL. Absolutely BRILLIANT. She explained how the deposition would go, in detail, & before I knew it, the opposing counsel came on zoom & Diana immediately went to bat for me & before I knew it, a deal was struck & not before she went back 3 times to fight even harder for me & end result was not only did I not have to be dragged through the deposition (thank heavens bc I was a wreck), but she got me a settlement that I was very pleasing bc I didn’t want to have to spend anymore time fighting for my rights, but if I needed to, I would’ve. Diana saved me a ton of stress & emotional trauma. I cannot give enough compliments to this great law firm & I mustn’t forget to thank my neighbour who referred me💝. “Thank you” doesn’t seem enough, so I hope this review helps🙏.
