I have a very specific style I like for my hair and it can be difficult because of my head shape and how my hair grows in general. I asked for a short, low maintenance summer haircut that I could put up into a ponytail because I need to put it up for sports and working out, and Traci delivered. You can tell she's incredibly skilled at what she does and she has a great eye for style. Two things I thought that made her stand out to me from other stylists is 1) she is honest about what she thinks will work and what won't and gives her best, most helpful opinion to ensure that the result is something that will work for you (some stylists will just let you do something to your hair that won't necessarily look good on you and just go with it), so ask for her opinion because it is valuable and 2) she spends extra time making sure your haircut is just perfect - which illustrates her dedication to excellence. “I found Karina and The Best Little Hair House 6 months ago and I felt like I had come home...and we all know how great that feels! I moved to this area from Palm Springs a year ago where I had been with the same stylist for 15 years. I tried 2 other hair salons in the area but hadn't been impressed with the service or the stylists. Then I found the Best Little Hair House and Karina. On my first visit she spent extra time talking with me to make sure she understood what I was looking for with both the coloring and the cut. I have short hair and not everyone likes working with short edgy cuts, but not Karina. She asks questions and she REALLY listens to what I have to say as well. (rare!) She's patient, knowledgable, confidant in her craft, and always makes me feel that when I'm in her chair, I'm her only priority. She doesn't squeeze a lot of clients in at once, which I always have appreciated. Karina is intelligent, funny as hell, a wonderful mom and its been evident she really cares about the community she lives in and works in. Her salon is immaculate and she isn't pushy about selling products. I bought the products I wanted because they worked for me in the salon and did the same when I took them home. “I highly recommend Sue Richards as an expert hair stylist. She has the talent to cut your hair so that it falls perfectly into its style. She does fabulous fringed edges. I've been going to the Long Hair Company for many years short hair, long hair, Sue always delivered an excellent cut. And then there's color. Sue has a great eye as to which colors work best with your complexion. She makes good suggestions. Sue will either talk and get to know you or just stick to business; whichever makes you feel most comfortable. I love their coffee/tea station. It's a Kerig and always has a great selection and goodies. I now drive 24 miles to have my hair done and I always am glad I did.“
