The hotel is dated but quaint.Rooms are clean and serviced promptly.Some minor issues we had but staff was quick to respond and fulfill our needs.Front desk gentlemen Christian, Jimmy and Jack were great.Definately will return. Location is greatNearby activities: You are in the heart of the city and everything is within walking distance.Walkability: Everything is closeFood & drinks: Everywhere we ate it was amazing and delish.
We stayed in one of the VIP rooms for 4 nights. The room was very nice with all the amenities you could ask for. Microwave, Jacuzzi tub, Fridge, Awesome balcony, Great view, Perfect location, 2 bathrooms, Plush beds and pillows, Fireplace and heated floors in the main bathroom.On the first night of our visit there was a wedding party about 100 feet from our room and it was VERY VERY LOUD!!!! We called the front desk and complained. The party went on all night and we barely slept until about midnight when all the screaming kids and adults finally vacated the premises and the street. We've always wanted to stay in Catalina but Hotels were always booked the same day, so we made a point to book it 3 months in advance and truly enjoy the island. Stephanie, Danica - and to an extent Yoli (but not really) - were all super helpful during our check-in, dining options that were kid-friendly, the recommendations for a romantic spot for just me and the wife, and the cool Arcade behind the hotel. The whole stay was worth it, the only small small small issue was that the spa is super small and kinda dirty - and I don't mean dirty water, I mean it had sand at the bottom all three days, it doesn't look like its cleaned daily. I would stay there again.
