5 stars with some caveats. ------------------ I consulted 2 orthodontists and chose Dr. Pulvers as my first ever orthodontist (as an adult) because the whole office staff is extremely friendly. They also pick up phone calls right away, with no hold time at all.
Dr. Pulver pointed out that I need double jaw surgery to fix my bite, suggesting bringing my lower jaw back, while the other ortho that I consulted did not mention anything about it.
Dr. Pulver is spot on about me needing DJS as the surgeon in LA agreed with it, but they did not agree with setting my lower jaw back. Instead the surgeon's plan is to do... read full review

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Pulver and the entire team at North County Orthodontics! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease. The office is bright, clean, and has a fun, kid-friendly atmosphere that immediately put my children at ease, along with sour gummy worms after their first consult visit- won my kids over for sure!
Dr. Pulver and his team are incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of the process, making sure both my kids and I understood what to expect. North County Orthodontics is amazing! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The doctors are always willing to answer any questions and take their time to make sure you know the treatment plan. 5-stars all the way around!!!
