I had a nice pedicure, but the night before my next appointment, I was hit hard with the stomach flu. I knew it was too short notice to cancel without paying, so I called twice to cancel, left voicemails, and asked for a return call so I could pay for the missed appointment and rebook. No one called back. I also sent a message—still no response. When I went online to book another appointment, the website showed they were fully booked through September 2.
UPDATE: They called. Did not charge for my cancellation. And scheduled an appointment for me. This is a very nice salon, and was recommended by all my friends but very popular — so don’t wait... read full review
Not sure if this place is still owned by the same people. Left two messages to schedule an appointment and never heard back.Update: Thank you for the reply! I use Yelp when traveling so phone is always the easiest. Suggestion would be to update your voicemail message for travelers and old school phone people. :)
Best nail salon on the Central Coast I've been going to Brooke at Private Beach consistently for the last 8 months and just had my wedding nails done here alongside my bridal party--always flawless. The atmosphere feels like you're apart of the family and they truly love what the do. I get hard gel which keeps my nails SO strong and I can grow them out easily.The salon is VERY clean and I never feel uncomfortable like I have felt in some walk-in salons.Both Brooke and Kim have done my manicures, Casey and Alyssa do my pedicures and they knock it out of the park every time.
