He was compassionate, transparent, patient, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain our options, gave us his honest thoughts and guidance, and never once made us feel rushed or pressured. I truly felt like he had thoroughly reviewed Dudley’s history and files before we even walked through the door, so we didn’t have to start from scratch or explain everything all over again.
There is no way to make a day like today okay. But Dr. Stegmaier made an absolutely heartbreaking experience gentler than I ever thought it could be, and we are so freaking grateful for that.
