Jacob is thorough and skilled. He has an awesome understanding of what my boys want for haircuts whether it’s low taper fade or skin fade. He even used a razor to put a design on the side of my boy’s head. My kid LOVED it. Jacob rocks.

I have been going to Oscar since he first opened in Arcata. I’d been a regular at another Arcata shop and was almost always settling with the service I got from them. I saw an Instagram ad for this shop and went out on a limb. I was pleased to return to a place that ONLY gives consistent, high-level barbering services.
Throughout the years since, I’ve shopped around here and there to see what other shops offer. Never because I am unhappy, but just to see what’s out there. Some shops are pretty decent, but none of them touch Oscar. So if you’re unhappy with your cuts where you’re getting them, quit playing around and book with Oscar and co.
