My cats have all been cared for at SBAC since 1990. The staff is always friendly, accommodating and sympathetic in times of crisis. We appreciate all they have done over the years.

Is not a true fully holistic vet. Wants to shoot chemicals into your animals before they will see them.

New to town. Called because my dog is having an allergic reaction. They are not taking new clients because they are booked out so far. 3 stars bc they weren't able to see us but not 1 because I understand why. Just reviewing so others know to save their time and not call.

Been taking all of our animals here for almost 30 years. Currently we just have one kitty we bring in for his annual exam and vaccinations. Today was the exam with Dr. Higgins. The clinic has things very streamlined during the pandemic. You park in a numbered spot, go inside to check in and a vet tech comes out to get your animal. After the exam Dr.Higgins called my cell to give me a full recap of my cat's exam and ask if I had any questions. Then I went inside to pay and got my baby back. It was all a smooth process and everyone was sweet and welcoming. Thanks SBAC!

Whew! I'm not the only one who has been treated with disrespect by the SBAC front desk staff. When I took my dog in for emergency surgery - they were fantastic! They saw my dog right away, and the vet did an absolutely WONDERFUL job with the surgery. She saved my dog's life. Same thing when I had another dog neutered at SBAC. Fantastic job, and excellent results. The doctors in both cases called regularly to see if my pups were OK. So - hey - Sunnybrae. I recommend that you have regular staff meetings Re: Public Relations. This is primarily in regard to your outgoing recorded message, phone manners, and front desk staff's attitude. Here's what's happened to me: The recorded message is very off-putting. It's about how they won't accept new customers - there's no cheerful greeting. No encouragement to check back later. The phone rings and rings and no one picks up. I have had to interrupt being told that I will be put on hold, and if the clock ticks 5, before they get to me, well, that's too bad! One time, I was trying to cancel an appointment- doing them a favor! So I took approx 1 minute to cancel appt. - after interrupting the "you're a naughty girl" talk. It's like the employees who interface with the public are protecting the docs behind closed doors from having too many patients. You know what they say- "Be careful what you wish for..."

We are visiting in the area and Mac, our little dog, eye swelled up, he itched all over, was lethargic etc and we were desperate to find a vet. Every place we called wasn't taking new patients. Fortunately Sunny Brae agreed to and they were wonderful...careful, thorough, provided the right medication , told us what to be concerned about. If we lived in the area, they would be our first choice. Our deepest gratitude to them

We switched to Sunnybrae Animal Clinic from another local vet, and it has been one of the best decisions we have made thus far. We've been absolutely blown away by their service on multiple occasions (thank you Dr. Burden and Jocelyn especially) and we truly feel that they care for our animal just as much as we do. They have taken the time to help our cat (and she's most definitely not an easy one), all while figuring out some underlying health issues she has. To say I'm grateful for this vet is a huge understatement!

Very disappointed. We inherited our folks cocker about 5 years ago. Sunny Brae was her vet from the time she was a puppy and now she is 14. We continued to use these folks whenever we are in town. The older Dr had always been great. For the past few times has been extremely difficult and the staff now is very rude and could care less. Our cocker has a severe infection and we called to get help. ZERO help even though it is an emergency said they cannot get her in. Unbelievable for folks who claim to have pets best interest the opposite in my personal opinion is true.
