Making an appointment over the phone was easy as was setting up my profile on their portal the night before my visit. I was recommended by a family member to see Sandy, she and her Medical Assistant were both fantastic. Sandy answered my questions and eased my fears. My follow up appointment is already booked. Easy to locate, plenty of parking and the office was spotless. Highly recommend!
Peter Chansky, MD, FAAD - Dermatologist Castro Cpmc My initial visit I provided my history (if one makes an appointment I suggest to go to their website I'm providing in order to fill out your history in a PDF format). My visit to Dr Chansky was very enlightening. He had his MA at his side dictating to her what his diagnosis is, plus what medication he will prescribe. I suggest if a medication isn't covered by one's insurance to ask if there's an alternative that will suffice. He answered all questions I had, including not being rushed as I've experienced with other dermatologists. His reception staff Isabella is whom i initially spoke to and I provided her my primary physician's referral information for my initial appointment evaluation. However, I was told when I arrive for my initial appointment she will provide me a tablet to complete my history. Being a senior citizen I've been to other dermatology practitioners and it was difficult for me to provide my previous history using the tablet. Therefore, I'm suggesting the going to their website I'm providing below. This way you will help Dr Chansky to review any other medications prescribed that may not have been helpful. I apologize to Isabella because I believe she would have to input into their system what you've provided in the PDF format. My first time visiting the office was a week ago (o6/28/2023) the staff was very friendly and professional, especially Suzy the front office woman. As I was waiting to go see the Dr. Suzy was very polite and respectful to the people calling the office. I go again on 07/12/2023, looking forward to my visit. Highly recommended.
