I had a terrible experience with this clinic. They tried to charge me an exorbitant amount for a service they didn’t even provide. It seems like they intentionally mess up patients’ sleep study requests so they can charge twice—once for the at-home study, then again by claiming it was inconclusive and requiring an on-site study. The whole place gave me a bad vibe, and on top of that, I was still forced to pay for a two-minute Q&A with the specialist. Seriously, avoid this place.
I've been a patient here for 15+ years. My doctor retired and so I continued with the new doctor who took over her patients. I have to say I'm extremely disappointed in how the practice is now. When I call, people are very short and rude. They act as though I've completely interrupted their day and am such a burden for calling. When I try and get prescriptions filled, sometimes they don't fill them or respond to the pharmacy. I'll have to call several times to get someone to respond. Now even though I'm writing this during the time of COVID, this has been happening since I started with this new doctor. So this isn't a reflection of the current situation of things, but I can say, it's even worse now. I've had a prescription I'm waiting for a refill on since March. I've called, used the patient portal, emailed, left voicemails, called again and still nothing. The pharmacy has even asked me if that is the right doctor because they haven't heard anything. Now I'm waiting for paperwork for my job that says I'm high risk and require accommodations for work. It's been about 3 weeks and I haven't received anything back from them. I've called, they said I would have it within a week. That didnt happen. So I called and left a voicemail and never received a call. My parents are also patients here and my dad was concerned he may have been exposed to Covid from work. He called the doctors office and both my parents were told to get tested. First they received a referral to get tested. They sent my parents to a lab that told them they don't do Covid testing. This is the doctor that we both see. He then referred them to a closed testing site. It had been closed since the end of May and this was the end of June. So my parents were trying to find a place that would test them. This process took a week before they could actually find a place that was doing them and got an appt. how concerning is it when the doctors don't even know where you can go and what information is current. I've had such good care here before and I'm so sad that now I feel like just a hassle and a burden to this practice. I haven't had luck finding a new doctor because of the pandemic but I've started to look for a new general physician. Update 7/14: I've reached out again today via phone and email. If I don't hear back within the next couple days, I've been advised to file a complaint with the state medical board. Sad to see what this practice has become. Update 7/17: I received a call today and they said that the doctor will not fill the forms out that I emailed to them over 3 weeks ago until he can see me IN PERSON. So rather than someone telling me this when I originally sent them over, and then telling me 2 different times that I would have them returned within a week, they waited until the day I told them I needed to return them to the HR department at my work to let me know I had to come in. So now, I have to take the afternoon off work to go in to have him do these forms. This has been such an unprofessional experience.
