I had the pleasure of working for Jeff Talmadge for four years before starting my own company, and I can honestly say that time was foundational to my career. Jeff’s leadership, patience, and commitment to quality left a lasting impression on me — not just as a carpenter, but as a builder and business owner.
Working under Jeff gave me the chance to sharpen my skills and learn what it means to lead with integrity and purpose. He’s swift in his decision-making, thoughtful in his approach, and truly invested in the people around him. That kind of leadership sticks with you.
Even a decade later, I look back on my time with Talmadge Construction with appreciation. Jeff is a great leader, mentor, and someone I continue to hold in high regard. If you’re lucky enough to work with him or his team, you’re in good hands.

The finished product was worth it though, the attention to detail the team brought and the craftsmanship of their lead carpenter Tucker was impressive. We would definitely… read full review
