I took my dress to Dena to have hemmed as it was too long for my nieces posh wedding. Her set up was very professional and she was very nice as well. As I left, she said it wouldn't cost that much as it was just a hem. I told her when I needed the dress and was on my way. I picked up my dress a few weeks later and she charged me $90!!!! I couldn't believe it! I reminded her that she has said it wouldn't be much but she was firm on the price, so I paid and that is why I am only giving 3 stars. Her work was took notch, price...not so much.

Dena saved my wedding, and my dress! She's a highly skilled seamstress who has the vision to see and explore possibilities outside the seams. I HIGHLY recommend. Another alterations person did a botch job on my wedding dress; with only two weeks until the big day, it was recommended by a second alterations person to buy another because fixing would be too big of a job, and maybe not possible. But not by Dena; Dena had the vision and confidence that she could fix my dress in time.She completely reconstructed the lace arms (adding extra fabric to a complicated lace pattern) and bodice/under-layer of my dress; I could lift my arms and my boobs didn't float like weird islands!...read full review
