Helpful staff but appointments run very late: finally seen 45 min after the appt time kind of late.Vet and techs are good with my skeptical dog. He's also dog-reactive and the front desk staff have been great helping me avoid other dogs. Overall I'm pretty happy with them.

We moved to Antioch in 1990 and have always had our cats treated at Antioch Veterinary Hospital, first the 10th Street clinic and for the past 8-10 years the Dear Valley hospital. For the last ten years we have had five cats, prior we had two cats. The treatment by the vets has always been satisfactory and the help by the staff satisfactory, as well. Whenever one of our cats was sick, we could get the kitty seen by a vet that day. That came to a dead stop in 2020 with the onset of the pandemic. Since March 2020, 99% of the time you cannot get an appointment without a three-week waiting period. Three weeks. If you're really, really lucky, two weeks. With five cats all...read full review
