From beginning to end, Brian was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful about not only retrofitting our house but also the EBB program. He was very communicative and patient every step of the way and there were never any surprises about the permit, work, or next steps. He made the process super easy and stress free and was very transparent about all fees in every phase of the retrofit. His crew was polite and Brian would always come on and check that everything was up to his very high standards. We would work him again!

Brian, Holly and their Golden State team were honestly the most efficient, informative and communicative contractors you're going to find. Brian's reputation is such that a rival contractor gave him an unsolicited recommendation during his inspection. Brian and Holly were very responsive over text and email. They were absolute experts at dealing with Oakland's notoriously difficult planning department and helped me troubleshoot scheduling around another home project, the EBB deadlines, and the birth of my child!
