I had four pants hemmed and altered here before a recent trip and they were all done very well. It was a mixture of dress pants, tuxedo pants and jeans and the service was great, a couple day turn-around and pricing was very fair. I'll be coming back for more in the future and highly recommend them.
I am off and on coming to Happy Alteration for my alteration needs for over a decade. I've used other tailors in AH out of convenience for an item need to be tailored or fit, but the other tailors never have given me satisfaction as Happy Alteration. They listen and always give me perfect solutions, too. A little out of my way (I have 4 other places closer to my house) but, I'm happily bring all my clothes need to be altered here.
It's tough to find a good alterations/tailor, and I wish I had found this place sooner! Usually, I went to this other tailor by my gym, but it appears he retired. So far, I've gotten 2 jeans hemmed (original hem) and the sleeves shortened for 3 casual jackets. There is only one guy who works here, and he's both friendly and professional. His stitching is quality work as it's even for both legs/sleeves, and he asks you for a week before it's ready. Also, I saw a sign in the front that says one can ask "repair alterations" (e.g. if you ended up needing your pants/sleeved shortened more) up to 1 week after items are picked up Original hem = $20 for pants Jacket sleeves = $25 Pricing was a little higher than I was used to before COVID-19, but hey, everyone's gotta make a living. I'll definitely be bringing more items here
