I went to Jelly this afternoon to have her fix up my bat tattoo on my hand and she did an amazing job. I went 11 years with this tattoo because the first time I got it, (at a completely different shop), was a horrible experience. The artist was VERY heavy handed and the tattoo was horribly painful. I finally decided to get it fixed this year and I wanted Dark Heritage to be the place. I was referred to Jelly and I was so happy to have her be the one to fix it. She was gentle, reassuring, and very sweet. I will definitely be coming back to see her again for more tattoos. Not only was she great, but the atmosphere of the shop is very laid-back. I searched for nearly two years all over the internet for an artist to tackle my Iron Maiden tattoo. I stumbled across an artist named Dave James at Dark Heritage. From what I saw on his Instagram page, his work was amazing. Well I visited from Sacramento and set an appointment. Three months later, after three separate sessions we have finished this masterpiece. The vibe in the shop is super low key and professional. The other artist's were great to talk with. Will definitely schedule a future session to start on the next project. I recommend Dave to anyone looking for their next art piece.... read full review
