“I love coming here. i switched to threading again since i cant do wax anymore because of some treatments i get done with my dermatologist. They are pretty quick and painless getting my eyebrows done. I usually avoid threading at all cost because it was usually painful than getting my eyebrows wax not this place though, i dont think ill ever switch back to waxing! They give you a quick eyebrow massage after threading too which feels so good and relaxing! I do have a weird eyebrow and they make it so beautiful and even everytime i get it done!“

“I can’t begin to explain how great Daren is! This review is very long overdue, but I’ve been coming to Daren for almost 3 years now. I remember when I first came to Daren, I got a lash lift and tint which I was extremely satisfied with considering I have short lashes. The process was fast and she was super gentle with my eyes/lashes. Daren made me feel comfortable and even put soothing music to help me relax (she always does and asks if you prefer to listen to a specific music playlist). I remember while she was doing the lash lift, she complemented my eyebrows and their shape and suggested I would be a great fit for ombré brows (one of the permanent makeup services she offers). I was extremely hesitant because to be quite honest, the idea of getting permanent makeup scared me at that time. But she gave me more information about it and answered any questions I had. I ended up going home to think about it and ended up booking an appointment a couple of days later for her ombré brows service. I was also super particular with my eyebrow shape since this was one of the first few times I was trusting someone with my brows (I never let anyone pluck or thread them, I always did it myself). Daren encouraged me to come in with my brows drawn in how I like them. She then shaped them to be more symmetrical and natural looking based on how I had my brows shaped. She even showed me how they looked and asked if there was anything I would like to change. Before she started the procedure, she showed me the needles she would be using and showed them being in an unopened sterile package. During the procedure, she first outlines the brows before applying the numbing cream. I felt absolutely no pain during the outlining. I felt more pain/stinging when she applied the numbing ointment which is normal due to having already outlined them and the skin being open. From there, she let the numbing cream take effect and started the filling process. Be prepared to be there for about 2-3 hours if this is your first time or if you’re getting a color correction. During the procedure she kept asking me how I was doing and if the numbing cream was wearing off (so she could apply more) and really made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Fair warning, at the end of the procedure you're eyebrows will look bold and dark, but it's absolutely normal and part of the process. They will also feel a little tender after the numbing cream wears off and will be a little red. Keep in mind that with the ombré brows, a follow up retouch is may or may not be needed depending on how your eyebrows healed/skin absorbed the pigment. My mom for example, had great pigment retention and did not need a touch up(she also got her brows done through Daren). In my case, I needed the touch up due to my skin not retaining as much pigment. However, after the healing process my eyebrows have never looked better and I've received so many compliments. I did get a 9 wk - 12 month touch up to darken them up a bit after my first procedure and my brows continued to look great! I recently had my third touch up this past December 2022 with a mini touch up in January 2023 and my brows continue to look great! In addition to lash lift and permanent makeup, I have also had her lash extension service done through her. So far I have tried her signature and classic sets, and soon a wispy volume set for my wedding this coming September. I am always impressed with how all my sets come out and have kept coming back to her. Her sets last for a good while especially if they are well taken care of. Overall, I have been extremely happy with Daren's services and continue to see myself coming back to her. She is super sweet and always takes her time and makes sure you are happy with the outcome of your service! Booking an appointment is also super quick and efficient, and if you ever have any trouble trying to book she will help(: It may seem cliché, but you honestly get what you pay for and I can assure you that Daren’s services are worth every penny!“

“I've never had a designated salon that I've really liked and consistently gotten my hair done at. I looked up local shops and found Rita's salon had very good reviews. I called before hand for a wait time for a walk in .She told me to just head over and she would attend me. The moment I arrived, she attended me. ( However, she did mention she preferred appointments as sometimes it can get busy! ) She was very kind to say the least. What stood out to me was the fact that she was very considerate of the fact that I have curly hair and did her work accordingly.
