We rarely write reviews for companies, but in this case, we feel compelled to do so. Working with Allguard Termite and Pest is a breath of fresh air. Allguard is a family business with a personal approach not seen very often today. A few months ago, Allguard tented our beach house in Oxnard. We were so delighted with their service that we recently requested that they treat our termite problem in our LA home. James, the owner, is very friendly, honest and patient when explaining his recommendations. Unlike other termite companies, he does not recommend work that is not necessary. Very unprofessional by not showing up on appointment date. I booked appointment 2 weeks in advance and guy never show up. They don't return phone calls or text
We had initial problems with have wood repair--it started and then abruptly stopped. Two weeks later, it was repaired well. Same with tenting, the day of, after we packed and dogs left at kennel, it was determined the forecasted wind would interfere with tenting stability. We were upset and stated the company should have watched the forecast and forewarned us the day(s) prior. The reason, I'm giving 4 stars is because James Elson, the owner called us, patiently listened to our distress and recommendations.
