My GSP dogs love this place more than anything. I tell them we are going to Disney when I’m bringing them because that’s how much fun they have. I feel like this is the only place that can give my extreme high energy dogs the care they need. When I bring them home they are so well behaved. This is the perfect place to bring your dog to just be a dog! They also don’t overcrowd with too many dogs at once like some places do. It’s a bit of a drive if you live in San Diego but this is the only place I will bring my boys when I go away because I have such piece of mind that they will be safe and having so much fun. ?

We have been using Alpine Dog Ranch for over 15 years for two of our dogs, first Chance (Lab/Doberman mix), now Winter (Golden Doodle). They LOVE this place. When their car arrives for pick up our dogs get excited, tails wagging and jump in their vehicle- no hesitation. (By comparison when I take Winter to the groomers she refuses to get out of my car.) While we are gone we can see our dog on video running around and they send us pics. The dogs always come home happy and tuckered out- not once did they return sick. This family owned business is professional and responsible and has been a life saver. I feel like when we are on vacation, our dog is too!

We moved out to San Diego from Boston back in 2021. We brought our two pointers with us. Clarke was 3 and Louie was a few months old. They are a handful. We had always relied on family to watch them for us back home in Boston. We really struggled our first year out here trying to find a place for them to stay where we didn't feel guilty. We toured a couple places around San Diego, passed the temperament exams, got them into a few daycares and started there.
