Very disappointed.... I saw a Groupon for this place, the voucher specified "lymphatic drainage massage, otherwise known as detox massage". I recently had surgery and needed this type of massage to drain my system. I had had 5 massages at another location but in another state, so I needed to find someone closer now. Prior to purchasing the voucher, I called the location to verify that they could do the massage and explained that I had my surgery a little over a week prior and was still wearing a faja garment. I was told that it would not be an issue. Upon arriving, I was greeted but did not complete the paperwork because I was made to go into a room. While removing the garment, I told them that I would agree to their 30 min hand massage and not do their 30 min "machine massage". That I didnt mind paying the full price if needed. At that point, the lady called 4 or 5 other women and they began talking amongst themselves. I was eventually told that I needed to wait 2 months to have the massage because the machine would be too hard, I reminded them again that we had agreed that instead of the 60 min massage that I was fine with just getting the 30 min hand massage. After that I was told that the lymphatic drainage massage could only be done 2 months after my surgery because I was "too tender". This is when I knew they had no idea what they were talking about. Lymphatic drainage massages are crucial after my type of surgery, which is something they were aware of prior to purchasing the service. I didn't argue, since it was evident that they were not qualified but I figured I'd keep the voucher and simply return later for a regular massage..... when I told them that I would be back after the "2 months" I was told that it would be best if I just get my money back. When I kindly declined and said no that it was ok and I would be back (thinking it was a language barrier) I was just sternly told by the owner that I needed to get my money back because they were not going to service me. This was embarrassing and I felt horrible; it was a very difficult day given that I had to travel to this location in my condition and most of my energy was wasted on the events of the day. Fortunately, I was able to find a spa in Pasadena with a certified doctor who recognized that I did need the lymphatic drainage massages and was seen the next day. They should not give misinformation to people, especially if they don't have a clue on what they were talking about. Without these specific massages in a timely manner (not over 2 months), I could have developed fibrosis or seromas.... I did my research, but I can only imagine someone who had no clue and was told to wait.

The receptionist, Olivia, gives major unrelenting attitude. It's actually quite impressive - even after i stated she had attitude, she maintained her grimace, puckered her lips, and rolled her eyeballs back at her computer screen. The facialist, Alice, was a pleasant sweetheart and the service itself was great! Unfortunately, it's not enough to make up for the poor scheduling and miscommunication fumbles, which were promised to be accommodated, somehow... If management does honor their word, I'll update this post. Otherwise, will not be coming back.

Very difficult to speak to and messy booking system. Saw on Groupon and tried to book and she asked me for the voucher number and demanded I she needs it to make the appointment, which places NEVER do, or they can mark it as redeemed before you even go. Seems like a scam to me, don't go from Groupon.

Do NOT come here! If you bought a Groupon for a facial, they'll trick you in paying more by offering you a serum that will help your skin hydrate as part of the facial. You end up finishing your session and then get charged for the serum. That's what happened to me and on top of that, they automatically charge the card with the tip without consulting! This is a deceitful way for them upping your cost because they know they can't get much from customers who used Groupon. DO NOT use Nancy!!!

After 3 facials, I now feel like I've been a victim of their manipulation tactics to sell products. BEWARE of their technique of examining your face to pair you with the right service/product. This usually happens in the middle of a facial while you're laying there vulnerable, having them tell you what is wrong with your skin and the products that are needed to continue with the facial. Later you will learn that you just bought into a package deal since the product is to be used in a series of facials. The estheticians would talk your ears off about how good the product is for your skin until you feel like you have no choice but to say yes so that they can continue the facial. //////// The long story: Being new to the area, I bought Groupon deals to try out spa services near me. During my first visit to New Vogue Beauty, the esthetician sold me on buying a spa membership where I got a deal on 10 facials for $600. They let me break up the payment in half which I thought was accommodating. And that after the first 5 visits, I can pay the rest. Great, I thought...since I was looking for a new facial spot that's close to home whenever I want to relax. On my 2nd visit, the same esthetician that sold me on the facial package was giving me the usual treatment, but after examining my skin that day she then started to sell me on 10 vials of serum for $200 which is "just $20 a vial" to go with my facial or else it would cost more if I want the vials individually. She kept explaining the product over and over and told me how it will help improve the hydration of my skin. Okay, I thought...since my skin was feeling really dry that day and the 10 vials is used every time I go in for the regular facial package I had bought into. On my 3rd visit, this is with a different esthetician, the store manager. Again, after cleaning my face and examining my skin, the esthetician told me that they have a brand new product that would help with the acne scars on my face. She explained that there's a great deal right now due to Thanksgiving, and it would be $295 with a smaller version of it as a gift. She also told me that I will see improvements on my scars if I use the product at home and when I bring it in to use during the facial. Ummm, I thought...why does it feel like I am being sold a new product every single time I come in for a regular facial?? I told her that I don't have that kind of money to spend right now and that I will think about it for next time. She countered and said that I can pay the balance next time I come in. She continued to try to sell me on how great it is for my skin, yadda yadda...and just didn't continue with my facial until I finally said okay. After the facial, I go to the front desk to learn that since she used some of the product during my facial, I will HAVE to pay for the entire thing. Again, I was sold another product series that I didn't intended when I went in. I never felt so manipulated in my life. After I finish all the treatments that I bought into, I will never return to this place again.

Loads of FREE parking. Located in large shopping center. Cute, clean, comfortable spa. Olivia the receptionist was super helpful and friendly. I bought a Groupon for the deep cleansing facial this morning, and I totally lucked out with an appointment at 230pm. Alice was my aesthetician, she's very sweet. Soft hands, gentle on my face, but strong on my shoulders and back, the way I like. My skin feels clean, soft and looks better. Their packages are pricey (10 services for $600), and I asked if they do smaller instead (like 5 or 4) unfortunately they don't. Depending on how my skin reacts in the next day or so, I may return for their Summer deal offers.

Horrible place. They called me to tell me my late mother had credit with their shop so I decided to use it. I should have known it was a lie because the lady on the phone asked would I come in if there was no credit? I get there during my appointment day and the receptionist informs me they just lied about the credit to get more business. I don't know about how good their actual spa is but the fact that they used my dead mother to get me to come in is disgusting. A huge waste of my time and extremely insulting.

This place is the worst!!!!! I got a call that my mother-in-law had remaining credit for this place and so I made an appointment to get a facial. They then rescheduled my appointment to another day because my esthetician was not available that day. I show up for my appointment and I am told that the credit is invalid due to many owner changes in the past. I was basically lied to for them to get me to come spend my own money for my facial. They made me waste my time!!! Don't ever go!!! This place is full of liars and extremely unprofessional people!!!
