I have been going for a 2 and half months now and I really enjoy the techniques. I also like how we get to practice the moves with each other and get to explore it more. Sije Yuka is also a very nice and a good teacher to learn from she really inspires me. The community is very nice and helpful. Overall I enjoy learning and being there.
I entered the studio late, but was greeted with kindness.The students, ages young person to elders,the fluid movements of the instructors, the ease and gentleness of the way they calmly and precisely encouraged students to mirror their movements was fascinating. I am so looking forward to my first class and the classes that follow for the opportunity to learn self-defense and gain strength in my body and mind!
I will write this review based on my observation of the class only one time.I went there to check out their school and I found the environment very friendly and healthy. People help each other and practice together.Yuka, the chief instructor, was very nice and let me practice with them. She even showed me some of their Chi Sao practices.I’d say this is certainly a good environment to train if you like their style and for that I give them a 5 star.Now, I’d like to make some general comments about the style they practice to let you decide whether this is the right fit for you:- Unfortunate naming by its founder: The name of the Style is a misnomer.
