This was my third haircut with Renee and she is consistently wonderful. She listens to what I want and goes the extra mile to get it just right. My hair is both thin and very fine, so any inconsistencies in length really show. Renee always gets it to the exact length I want and ensures it is even on both sides. I've had far too many uneven haircuts from more expensive salons, but Renee cannot be beat at any price!
This place has great people who do wonderful work. The service is great. My boyfriend and I come here strictly for our haircuts. All the hairstylists are great and we enjoy going to Lan.
Before discussing the service, I should say that your map locating this Supercuts is off by two blocks: it is not on the corner of Santa Fe and Solano but on the corner of Carmel and Solano, and close to Ramona. The posted open hours are wildly erroneous too, since when I recently called them to ask about coming in, I was told that they were open only on Mondays through Thursdays, and on Thursday they closed at 1 p.m.! Therefore, the following Thursday I hustled down there around 11:45 and got off the bus at Santa Fe, only to discover that I was not in front of the place as the map had shown. Once there, however, I found that the girl who cut my hair did a good job, and I hope to return there for future haircuts. My only complaint was that she had to be prodded by me a couple to times to blow dry my hair sufficiently so that I wouldn't go outside with a wet head. (Maybe the management wants to save on electricity?) Also, when I was paying for the cut with a credit card, she asked me to give a cash tip rather than putting it on my card, as I was going to do, and there was also a sign to that effect posted on the counter. I thought that was a bit much.
