The good: Kathleena does have experience with curly hair. And uses eco-friendly products.
The Bad: she is not a good communicator, has a passive aggressive style, and does not run her business well.
As a returning client, I booked an appointment online, she accepted the appointment online, but called the next day to let me know that she's away in Europe for over a month (this happened last time I tried booking with her as well). She said there is another woman, a new salon hire, who is taking all her appointments while she's traveling. I asked Kathleena if this woman has curly hair experience and she said yes.

Kathleena is a gem! I hired her for hair and makeup on my wedding day and was so happy to find someone who was so intuitive, skilled, and committed to using non-toxic products. I felt exactly how I wanted to feel on my special day -- confident, beautiful, and just a slightly "elevated" version of myself. Kathleena has a gifted eye for highlighting natural beauty; I never felt like my hair or makeup was hiding the real me.While preparing for my wedding, I had a few cuts and one deep conditioning with Kathleena.
