I made an appointment and went, but the doctor never showed up. I tried to contact him through the phone, text and social media, but received no response. After 45 min he finally called to say that when he checked his schedule in the morning, my appointment wasn't there. Wow that's outrageous! I used to see his ex-wife and she was great! So I asked him about her, and he said they had divorced and he took over her business ! Too bad... she wouldn't have treated the way he did. I asked how he was going to compensate me for driving all the way from Walnut Creek and waiting 45 min for him, and he simply hanged up. Unbelievable! After this review was published his wife sent me a text apologizing and offering her services at her office ( being paid by Jos. I accepted and changed the review from 1 to 2 stars.

Dr Jos is a kind, caring, careful, and empathetic healer. He listens carefully, notices bad posture (ways of standing, sitting, walking, etc) and provides ways to help you to not aggravate the wrong muscles while helping you to stretch the ones that need some work. I noticed near immediate (couple weeks) changes in my body and in pain relief. He's also helpful in trying to get folks financial assistance (has helpful forms for low income folks), and if you can buy a package with him, his rate comes down. He's also willing to spread payments out when needed. His office has X-Ray equipment so you don't have to go somewhere else when needed. He can sell you needed vitamin supplements but is never pushy about it. He also has a stellar massage therapist who rents one of the rooms at his practice, so it's kind of a great one-stop shop if you will.
